    Hi Gecko, nice setup!

How come the water looks so brownish so fast? Black water?

Saw a pair of them at Gonature @ Yishun yesterday afternoon. Also a pair of exotic frog (Don't ask me what species) in Aquastar.

davwong, its similar because I had yours in mind when I got the tank from Vincent.
I had *** before, but seeing your pictures especially the biggest lumpy froggie has been an inspiration.

Got the frogs from gonature, the owner gave up after keeping them for a while so they are nice and well-fed. Unfortunately only 2 available.

The water is brownish as the fresh bark I used as retaining wall to hold back the gex soil is leeching tannin.

Nope! The equipment will rip off both your arm and leg. They are veryyy... expensive as compare to others. Take for Atman UV, you can buy about closing to 2 same set from NA. Only very limited items are reasonable price.

I guess most of the frogs call during the night either they communicate or call for love.

The abode is very well done. The high branches suit them well. What's the height of the tank? 2 feet?

One other thing, I can't make out the picture very clearly, but is the water level very high?
