    Hi guys,

Been experimenting with Balance K (K) and Aquatilizer (AQZER)from Ferka brand. Not too sure if it's any good for my 4 feet tank. Well I have not controlled other variables, but the K and AQZER do not seem to do much for plant growth.

    Any first hand experience.

    Cheers, Christophe

    Agreed,
I'm using the K but so far doesn't work well.
I have another k self mixed using K2SO4 and that works better than Ferka..
was hoping this would be a good supplement.

I've use it and seems to work well, then again I mix my fertilizers. I find Ferka Rosetta a real boost to my Crypts and Echinodorus. The Thais swear by it and I'm always a sucker for good economical ferts. I mean long term, you'd be thinking of how much you saved! That said I've use other ferts and if I were to be really honest, K is K. The difference is little if any...

Most of my plants are doing great after I started dosing the tank one month into planting...The only plant that I am not satisfied with the growth is the Uruguayansis Sword Plant...the new leaves seems to be crooked and it just not so nice...I guess it might be high time to add into ferka rosetta.

Sorry I can't help much. After my research I decided against trying Ferka out so I can't offer any practical experience. Ferka's fertilization methodology is very different from what I subscribe to. Being a believer of EI methodology, I just can't convince myself that sufficient N and P is generated by my fauna and/or base fert/tabs to not dose it in the water column

However, that being said, I must say that I'm certain Ferka is a very effective brand. Many people have told me that they have very good results in using Ferka's liquid ferts in conjunction with their root tabs

I would put one capsule or two to see if you like it 3 ft long. lol. I overdid it the last time...6 capsules over a small area.

    Hi Heeroyu,

What are the signs showed generally in the plants that makes you conclude on this? More bubbles, or? How long was your observation period?
