Koi do eat their eggs.
we took out some eggs and put in a small tank, those koi in the original tank ate all the eggs that we did not took out.

If you think hatching the eggs is a challenge...there is something even harder...raising the fry...they demand lots of time and energy...
It is quite hard to raise goldfish fry but you can try to feed crushed hard boiled eggs yolk mixed with water for the first 1.5 - 2 weeks then you can move on to frozen BBS (baby brine shrimp) and when you think they are big enough...frozen brine shrimp...after their growth starts to slow...around 3-4 months, you can feed them normal fish pellets and they will gain colour if they have not yet...hope this helps![]()
