i think i'm more old schooled. all i did it just used aged water.placing water under sun for a few days before using.
I am using Nutrafin Aquaplus. Been using it since day 1 and happy with it.

Will mix with some Brighty K when doing major water change.
Seachem prime, mixed with nutrafin aquaplus, then age for 2-3 days. considered mixing api stress coat too but never got the chance to. ok think i'm like a typical kiasu singaporean. too many cooks will spoil the broth.

Been using Nutrafin Aquaplus for the past few years. So far so good.
Looks like I am the only guy here that uses Sera Aquatan. It a bit expensive but the bottle is finishing soon might consider Seachem Prime. How much is a bottle?
