Looks like a small sized pitcher plant.
Hi
Just visited Garden Festival @ Suntec.
Its amazing to see the various types of flora from the different countries!!
I saw some little plants done up very nicely in a glass case. It looks great!
May I know where I can purchase a ready-made one?
Pitcher plant I bought there.

If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.
Don't walk behind me as I might not lead, don't walk in front of me as I might not follow. Walk beside me, as my friend.
Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.
I was working at the 4th floor of the festival doing the sound for the presentations and showcases at the stage.
Today got lelong because it's the last day. I bought minature orchids as well as easy to grow full size orchids. I got 2 small sized pitcher plants as well at a bargin. The shop with venus flytraps closed early so didn't manage to get those.
Will probably plant them in a shallow bowl in a minature garden as demonstrated by an expert during one of the workshops. I was lucky cause I got the chance to watch all the workshops on herbs, orchids, bromelids, pitcher plants, minature gardens, terrariums, bonsai etc.
Also got a hydroponic system to grow vegetables for myself. It was surprisingly reasonably priced: $6 for substrate, $5 for growth liquid, $1 for water level indicator and $3 for inner pot. Don't have to use pot, can use any tray or container and enought growth liquid for 1yr to 6 months depending on how many liters your container holds.
I bought some inner pots that you have to insert into a normal pot without holes. This is to grow certain plants like the tomato which requires lots of light. Can't mix with other veggies that will get burned from too much direct sunlight.
Just do your own. Easy as hell.
Bottom layer stones like lava rocks like we use for filter media.
Mid layer carbon like what we use in filters also.
Top layer thin layer of soil preferbly burnt soil, then you place the plants like normal aquascaping except not deep at all. Last you top up soil until it's level.
For terrarium same except spray a bit of water and cover. Next day If the glass is misty but still can see through, there's enough moisture. Too foggy must open and let some water dry up. No fog on glass must spray a bit more water.
Hi bro, any idea the festival will be until when? Interested to go down to have a look if got time... Kinda keen in the Hydroponics set after your brief description...[By the way, is it a kinda "Hydroponics for Dummies" kinda setup?!? Don't have 'green fingers' blood flowing in me leh...
] Thanks!!
The festival ended yesterday, unfortunately.
Eman

bought a few myself, mostly young plants.
Mine is starting to dry up a little, I guess I need to enclose it in a high humidity area.
Probably cover it up with a bag as stated in the instruction sheet?![]()

I keep mine in cultivators (enclosure for converting submersed cryptos to emersed), so far no problems with sign of growth. I also constantly spray them to keep the soil moist.
