    Yes,i just planted the Glosso and take the APP out,bcz the APP seem to be incontrolable,just trimmed it 2 days ago then it became what you guys seen in the pic.

    If APP is uncontrollable and giving you a headache in maintaining, i don't know what glosso will do to you!!

    Glosso is very invasive with high lights and rich substrate

    Yes,there is only one Atman HOB filter,medias are Ceramic ring,active carbon,and filter wool.

    @ Torque6 : I did planted some bacopa sp red for a focus point but the rotala taken over them

    I have to say that I agree that the focus of the tank seems to be a bit to spread out.

    One way to over this is to let your background plants grow thick and strong while keeping the foreground as low as possible.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Do keep us updated, I like the potential of this tank.
    Studying the water chemistry and nutrients is a science.
    Knowing what plants to get and how to use them is an art.

    I just trimmed the plants and will add some rotala macranda "narrow leave" for a focus point,and some more plant for depth improve.

    I saw some blur green patches in some of your tank pictures.. was wondering are those algae?

    How much lighting you apply to your tank? saw 4 tubes .. may be too much ?? Just my 2 cents.

    Those are green algea on my glass,sometime i see a bit of Green dot algea on glass too but only when i overdose the Green brighty special light (which contains much N and P)
    About the light,there are four T4 tube,each one is 8w so it is 32w over 28 litres,not to much right ?

    He he . i thought those are 24w tube
    Ya i got some green dusk on the glass. Checked the internet but can't find the cause for it.
