Still waiting... Is this really a joke? Haha.
By the time you post your photos, there are no different from buy another 200-300 adult shrimp, only different is you have a deep pocket. Just joking.

I have not see 200 to 300 sulaweisi shrimp babies in 1 tank of any species, it will be an eyes opener if the thread starter can show some pics.
It has been about 1 month the thread has started, the size of the fries should be about 0.6cm now, macro mode of camera should be able to take some shoot of them.

ok guys...been really really buzy with school work these days so i havent been checking this thread...firstly i would like to apologize for not replying to all of your comments...secondly, those things in my tank ARE NOT shrimps...after checking this thread,http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...ad.php?t=34333, i've realised that they were actually Copepods/ Cyclops...so i've finally gotten rid of most of them...i'm disappointed too...but it's TRUE that my sulawesi shrimp did give birth...however i only see 1 baby shrimp, the rest probably got sucked up the filter? i don't know, but i'll open up my filter one day to find out...so i've finally bought myself the sponge thingy from crshaven to prevent this from happening again...anyway, i've managed to get some pictures of my tank...its not much though...my tank consists of 2 sulawesi shrimps and 2 cherry shrimps...cherries were only added recently...once again, I sincerely apologise for creating a false alarm here...SORRY!

Wow.
I just remember someone used to say : 'Water too clear no fish'.
Yours is clear and full of SHRIMPS.![]()

full of shrimps? there are only 5 including the baby...btw yesterday i saw one of my sulawesi shrimp moving its fins(im not sure what it's called, the part below the abdomen they use for swimming around) rapidly but standing still for quite a long time...so wierd...then today i noticed it's carrying eggs again...yay

Only picture 5 looks Sulawesi to me. The rest looks like Sakura shrimps.![]()

Do you mean Sulawesi shrimps or shrimps from Sulawesi Indonesia. There are many colourful fresh water shrimps there.
I suspect they may be from the sea that migrate to inland fresh water.
Check out this website:

Frankly speaking, from the way I look at your tank it is highly unlikely they can survive for more than a month let alone lay eggs propagating future generations. A lot of vital requirements are missing:
Large area, well hiding place, temperature control, water parameter - hardness PH, food they eat, ratio of male female.
Quite hard but not impossible.

It was difficult to take pictures of the sulawesi shrimps because they tend to hide at the back alot...
I have placed one sulawesi shrimp in a GEX 9cm cube since last year...and until now i havent touched anything inside the little tank (no water changes, no feeding, no adding of plants) and it's still alive...
