maybe you want to check the spectrum from web site, but usually OK
guess u can secure them in ur hood or clip them. i managed to view the bulb at NTUC 2day. din see any info on spectrum. says daylight, 20w and think it was 1470 lumens( i can be very wrong but in case it did showed).. can tell anything from that?

Since it is stated as daylight, I am not too worried of the spectrum. Given the design of the tube, I am more concern in how to house them and also how to direct the lights into the tank.

hi from Cambodia. I have been using the spiral ones for a while now. I screwed three 23 watt to my wooden hood. I used CFL socket and screwed it with metal PVC clip (?) - It is OK so far however I am worrying over the heat as I placed each in a horizontal position. The K rating as I googled out is 3000 only for day light.
I mixed Osram with Phillip 23 w with 6500k. I have tried these bulbs with my 65G but it did not work for my plants.
