Re set-up my tank again. Approximate 7G tank. Dosing excel once every 2 days, and Flourish once a week. Temp around 27-29. Only 2 kind of plants, Cryptocoryne wendtii and jap hairgrass. Using Gex substrate. Well, I just planted the hg not long ago. Hoping it will grow well in my excel tank. Just in case the hairgrass fail, what other foreground plants you guys suggest? Oh btw, lighting is 18w.

    Hi Comet,
Btw do you supply your tank with Co2, cause my hairgrass is able to thrive with a temprature of 27-29, but it take quite a long time for it to grow and without any additional fertiliser.
    Cheers .
    Keeping.

I've HG in my 1ft low-tech tank and it's growing slowly but healthily.
No CO2 injection and fert dose only if I can remember.
