A few comments/pointers as much as I can.

Your tank seems to be a non-Co2 tank. So you can minimize water change with that tank, do only top up, and do not doze too much.

As for the plants, well since it is your first time trying, and it seems you are going for a scape without much hardscape, (dutch scape style i think they call it)... try not to put the nana rhizome in the soil. It may melt.

I know planting hairgrass is tough, but i think you can try plant them in even smaller bunches.

As for the other stem plants, seemed that you have taken out of pot and planting them without, all in one bunch. try planting them 1 cm apart.

If Mr Algae visits you, do not give up. Your non-co2 will have slow/low growth in initial stage, so be patient. After the plant settled in, you should have better growth after 2-3 months.

Ask more specific questions if you need. We are all here to help.

    Cheers, Christophe

    hi aquaticlover,

perhaps more rocks or DW will bring about a focus point within your tank? Agreed with aquaobession about the HG.

Spreading the plants out can encourage better growth and also allows room for them to grow into thus creating the lush growth which i assumed you're trying to obtain?
