    hi bros

I have a strange problem and need some help
new tank cycling for 17 days now.

Liquid fertilisers Used (Product name. E.g. Seachem Flourish) : wondergro micro and macro

Fertilization regime (Frequency and amount per dose) : as per instructions

Other fertilisers (Product name. E.g. Root Monster) : nil

Other additives (Product name. E.g. Seachem Prime) : seachem prime

Type of Filter (overhead/internal/canister, Product name/model if possible) : cannister, Eden 501

Chemical Properties (Fill what you can)
    -------------------------------------
    KH (dKH): 3
    GH (dGH): unknown
    pH : 6.5
    NH4 (ppm): 0
    NO2 (ppm): unknown
    NO3 (ppm): unknown
    PO4 (ppm): unknown
    Fe (ppm): unknown

Bioload (Number and type of fish and plants)
    ------------------------------------------

    Plants: HC, Hairgrass, downoi
    Fuana: 2 yamato

    Describe your problem :

Not sure why the tanks seems yellowish? The stones have a yellow patch (can't tell whether its alage) the plants turn yellow after a few days but most are growing.
Could it be the case of HC melting and causing the stain?
or is it that my lights are not strong enough? (unlikely cause the stain is on the stones as well)
Can i add activated carbon into my filter to get rid of the stain?
    Many thanks in advance !

Get more plants in your tank. The algae is common in new tank setups.

Yes must feed them after they clean up the algae. Used to have a few oto in my 1ft and very happy with their algae cleaning ability. Sad that 2 of them died last week due to shortage of food supply I guess, now the rest are happy sucking the algae wafer.

yeah, added more plants and removed one internal filter (think it is causing CO2 level to drop). Situation is better now.
    just got 2 otos today.
    now cleasning crew = 2 oto+ 2 yamato
