    If it's still young it's alright to keep below 1ft tank... Try putting more plants, So that the losing fish got more places to hide.

    Thanks everyone for providing me their vauled knowledge~!

    I had added more plants for the female to hide. Now i observe that she can finally out swim the male. Yesterday i discovered that she had turned yellow and trying to seduce the male into the cave. Hope she can succeed soon.
