    Yap before i purchase, just to make sure

    is Eheim 2222 strong enough for 2 feet tank (with discus n other fish + plants) or should i get 2224 ?

    Eheim 2222 specs:

    For tank size up to 150l.

    How big is your 2ft tank? If it is a standard 2ft tank, it will be too small for discus keeping.

    normal 2 feet.......only 3 discus thou. 1 dominant big 2 small.

    On the safe side is better to used more powerful filter. That is for tolerance. Eheim pro 2224 is the rite size.

    I used to have both the 2222 & 2224, find that the 2222 is really slow but quite suitable for a standard 2ft tank.
