    Another Nanochromis species which is available but seldom bought in.

    Couldn't get a flaring pic. Anyway, left with the female below. Love the blue cheeks.

    So colorful! The female of this genus are always more brilliantly colored compared to the males.

    Parilus got a very nice metalic blue coloration. I think its a quite common Nanochromis species in overseas, but i hardly see our lfs selling them though.

    The breeding tube is so obvious, wonder if it will breed with the male transvestitus that you have just added.

    The breeding tube has been around for very long. Even when the 2 males were still around. Lots of digging everywhere, but no activity. Too bad the last male had some weird growth on the body and passed on.

    No, she is not with the N. transvestitus. They are small compared to this fellow.
