New Tank Part II

My tank has finished cyling already (3weeks with 0 ammonia and 0 nitrite)

SO rite now i have about~12 cardinals
2 Rummy nose
2 Harlequins
4 Otos
&30? Shrimps

Thinking of putting in 2 x Corydoras to help with the clean-up.
2 x Otos
10 x Cardinals

Hope the tank is ok with this kinda bioload

Its a 2.5ft tank (33Gallons) planted tank with the plants growing n spreading well. CO2 about 2bps with Kh of 7 anf ph of 6.8-6.9

Input pls. would this be a good load for the tank? Thanks!

hello blades

if you intend to add 10 more cardinals and 2 corys and more ottos, you may be pushing your fish to water ratio. This would mean that your water change could be more frequent unless the plants that you have can help you with NO3.

Could you reconfirm your KH level? coz at KH of 7 and your PH is at 6.8 to 6.9 you may be over injecting a tad much...but if your fish are not showing any stress then i suppose it should be fine.

Hydrofila difformis, Hydrofila polysperma, hornwort.

Blades all plants will help to some degree or other in reducing N levels. In terms of effectiveness, faster growing plants will help more than slow growing ones... as such notice that all the plants David suggested are fast growers.

Thanks for all the help , guys.. bought 10 tiny cardinals , 2 ottos , 2 cories & 8 yamatoes to bring total tank population to :

20 or so Cardinals
6 Ottos
2 Cories
2 Harlequins
2 Rummy noses
8 Yamatoes
30 or so Malayan Shrimps
1 Dwarf Puffer (At least I think its a dwarf Puffer)
1 Betta

Not planning to add anymore fishes. All the above in a 33Gal tank should be ok rite? Will do weekly water changes (20%-30%)
