Hey there guys... my male Apsitogramma borelli is sick, and it looks like its several different diseases/parasites at the same time

Symptoms: White slime/spots on several locations of his body, sunken belly, one of his pectoral fins seems frozen in a particular position, as if paralysed.. he hasn't moved it in 2 days. Also he spends a lot of time laying at the bottom of the tank... still eating though.

I first noticed the sunken belly and weird behavior on sat, and suspecting internal bacteria, quickly bought and administered Miracle Baby MQ4. He seems to have gotten worse today

Anyone knows what's wrong, and what i can do to help him recover? I flew him over from HK just a month ago, really like the little bugger... he's the one in my avatar pic now

sunken belly may be a result of him refusing food due to stress from his other conditions and not because of internal bacteria, hence the Miracle Baby may have been a misdiagnosis From your description, it seems more of an external problem (white slime, frozen fin). Perhaps try melafix of one of the other interpet/API/Waterlife solutions for slime problems? These are the 3 brands of medication i found quite reliable based on reviews by others

Hmm.. he always had a good appetite, eating his frozen BS with gusto.. which is why i suspected internal bacteria. The external problem part is right though.

I've already administered Miracle Baby.. is it ok to administer Melafix at the same time? The Miracle Baby bottle states that its ok to use with other medicines, but its always safer to check with others who have tried it before..

you should not be feeding the fish with food while it's sick and treatment is ongoing.
