I bought a few packets of Sakura a few days back.
When i got home, other than acclimatising them to the tank water by putting the entire packet floating on top of the water. I also measured the PH inside the packet which was 9.0 when my tank water is just 7.3. Its not the first time that i bought Sakuras stored in high PH (above 8.5) waters.

after doing the dripping method for a few hours, i released the shrimps into the tank. A few days later, i realised that the shrimps that i bought were not that red already.

Just wondering if the higher the PH, the better it is for Sakuras?
