here is my shrimps and otos..
my otos will most likely to enjoy the food first before shrimp..
they dont allow the shrimp to get near.. if they do, they will suck the food and the shrimp will automatically walk away..

oto is a bad bad guy..

What a shot. Funny. Can feed your cherry with some boil spinach, don't think oto will go after.

Hi sign, just tried today to feed my cherries with some boiled spinach, but they simply ignored it... Maybe I didn't show them the "Popeye" cartoon to let them have an idea about the benefits of eating spinach...

For your case, do your Cherries go for the boiled spinach the moment you threw it in or it takes some time (hours, days etc...) before they devour it??

hey try not feeding cherries for a few days then dump the spinach in.

I had the same problems with my Otos in my 1.5ft tank. They will dive for the shrimp wafers and drive any shrimp feeding on them away.

Now that I've transferred them all into a 3ft tank, they get along a lot better, I drop one pellet at each side of the tank and let them do their thing.
