Noticed that my 4 otoclinus had been hiding under the driftwood for about 5~6 months.

This is after I added a driftwood tied with bolbitis, and they never leave that driftwood since then. At that same time, I stop using CO2 as it undergoes low-tech conversion.

Are otoclinus attracted to the driftwood? Or the shade under the bushy bolbitis?

Well, they do attach themselves most of the time, if not to surface of decorations, to the glass of the tank. They probably just like attaching and scraping on the driftwood.

This is how they feed anyway, scraping food from surface of objects. IMHO, no alarm bells though if they look healthy.
