This is good if you dont have space and you need all in one usage, then this is the best way to go. The IKEA trolley only cost $19(can dismantle easily) and Daiso tools hanger cost $2, total only $21, still very cheap.

    Hi Adrian.
thank you for inviting me to your place. I'm amazed at the bubbling moss amid the strong current produced by the wave maker.

after seeing this, i think your secret weapon is same as mine. Though i might switch from Prime to Nutrafin, as it has been getting good reviews some time back.

LOL! I dont have secret weapon lar. Yes i do use Nutrafin as my anti-chlorine and straight tap water into my tank, i just add more than required. Just keep water clean and your plant will reward you with beautiful scape.

My SECRET FORMULA. ... to share with you guys...
I'm using NPK from dry fert mixed with RO water, using EI method. Below is the schedule of my fert dosage.

Sunday50-70% or more Water Change(add Nutrafin antichlorine follow by tap water straight to the tank) then dose [3/16 teaspoon KNO3],+ [1/16 teaspoon KH2PO4] + [½ teaspoon MgSO4]
MondayDr's Mallick Aqua Lushgro, dose about 10ml
    Tuesday - [3/16 teaspoon KNO3] + [1/16 teaspoon KH2PO4] + [½ teaspoon MgSO4]
Wednesday - Dr's Mallick Aqua Lushgro, dose about 10ml
    Thursday - [3/16 teaspoon KNO3] + [1/16 teaspoon KH2PO4] + [½ teaspoon MgSO4]
    FridayRest
    Saturday - Rest

I'm using digital scale to weight all those ferts.

    More detail:
NPK (Nitrogen+Phosphorus+Potassium) Mixture for 20 Gallon Tank
    1 month = 4 Weeks
3 doses of NPK per week
Therefore there are 12 doses of NPK per month
    .
    Multiply a single dose teaspoon value by 12 => [3/16 tsp KNO3]*12 = 2 ¼ tsp KNO3 = 12.60 gram
    [1/16 tsp KH2PO4]*12 = ¾ tsp KH2PO4 = 3.60 gram
    [1/2 tsp MgSO4]*12 = 6 tsp MgSO4 = 28.8 gram
Add these to 600ml of RO or Distilled water

Now this mixture must serve 12 doses so each dose is 600ml/12 = 50ml
This makes life easier because you need only dose 50ml of this NPK solution 3 times per week.

*Note: Fert dosage sometimes differ depending on plants requirement.

You don't need precision with Estimative Index method. What is key is the driver to the rate of growth (Amount of light) and the CO2 delivery system (rate and distribution).

Since i have those stuff, is more convenient to measure it. Actually i feed more than required with extra potassium sulfate and chelated iron.

Here's a side view to share with you guys. The moss is growing like a pong pong thing. And the plants trim to slope it.

From the side, i noticed your rotalas are leggy ? Comparing both rotalas sp/round with the najesan over the past 3 months in my tank, the later is able to develop into a much bushier setup while the rotalas is somehow unable to develop 2 shoots per node as do most plants.

Are you having the same observation ?

Hi Torque! Those rotala are actually branched from 2-3" from first trim, from there it spread 2 nodes, and from 2 branched trim and spread to more branched, occasionally i trim lower depending on the growth. For this tank the depth is pretty deep, it needs very thick bush and wider area to get the best results, so long the bottom leaves dont shed off is ok. Currently because of the front plant it gives you the effect of leggy, the rotala is planted back every trim again to get it even more compact, you can see it is resting beside each other.
