hi all... been a long time since i've posted. anyway just a question, what plant(s) would you recommend for this low upkeep and No CO2 set up, very basic just a filter and lights and the occasional liquid fert. (Trying to keep it simple, 1 or 2 kinds of plants) moreover the plant should suit the style of the aquascape. still contemplating on what kind of fuana to put in but it will most likely be Cherry shrimps and maybe a pair of ottos. Tetras with shrimp? im afraid the shrimplets might not survive
know any other schooling fish that will compliment this set up?

    Cheers!

Boraras brigittae, and it is quite small to finish all the adult shrimp you have. Cant say so about the hatchlings though, although probably some can eventually survive to adulthood.

When it comes to plants, I'd use the usuall stuff. Moss, crypts, anubias. vallisneria (small ones).

    I second the Boraras brigittae.

May be you can provide more details about your tank? Like lightenings? Can see that you're using quartz for the substrate, is there any ferts under the quartz?

Hi! Anubias and mosses will be good in there. Also some hairgrass...
But the hardscape needs to be improved. The branches are realy good but the thing in the front (wood? rock?) aren't as well as branches. Try replace it for some litle rocks.
I recomend Irithernia werenia for schooling fish!

Boraras brigittae? sounds good... a school of about 20? think its sufficent?
i thought bout the rock in front, i thought of adding smaller ones on the right to creat a valley/canyon?

Lighting now is 9w not enough but im looking for one tt will fit the 3wpg rule
