air pumps will always make noise
some brands are more silent than others
rena is one of the more quiet brands
as for making it more quiet
if the noise isn't coming from the contact with other objects, but rather from inside, petergwee's advice won't work
maybe someone else will know something, cos i sure as hell don't![]()
Perharps the diaphragm of the pump worn out? But if that is the case..you won't get much air output though? Aiya...sound there will be..its only if you can tolerate or not only mah...

Thanks & Regards,

Use to have airpump with a bottom rubber plate screwed to it.
Loosen it and the Vibs went away significantly.
Tempted to adjust parts inside the pump but is an Electrical Hazards when plugged, so careful if u try to rectify anything inside.
