My estate going to shut down electricity for 2hrs! I know i can use portable battery airpump for the tank, what about the external canister, will the bacteria die in 2hrs? What can i do! UPS? Abit too costly for just 2hrs! Thanks!

For two hours mate i wouldnt worry. I've had a power cut in a storm that lasted over 12 hours, my tank was fine and even maintained its heat. I shouldnt worry yourself too much. If you have any open inlet/outlet areas though it may be worth temporaily blocking them to stop any small critters getting in. I found my shrimps liked the look of a dark tube which was the outlet to my internal canister. Bad idea for a frail shrimp to venture there should the power come on unexpectedly.

Hope this settles your worries mate.
