the set up looks great! but the scape lacks depth.. and some of the stem plants does not really suits iwagumi scape..
my 2 cents.

Very nice combination of background plants... however as mentioned by EvolutionZ the varied backdrop steals away the attention from your nice rockscape.
nice! may i know what are those plants used for foreground?
Hemianthus Callitrichoides "Cuba" (a.k.a 'HC') is the foreground plant
Wow! I love this scape. Those rocks are simply stunning! Those are exactly the sort of rocks im after for my 2ft scape. What are they exactly?

Can know where you purchase those black rock from, they do make nice rockscape when piled up that way
Are they piled up or are they one rock? I thought it looked like one big rock, then with a flat section in the middle with another rock on the far right.

Randomly did a google search, only brief (as in 5 minutes) and found a place within the UK where "black rock" is formed naturally. No idea if its the same stuff as what you have, but it looks similar.
Porthmadog in WalesSomewhere i holidayed couple of years ago. I may venture there again soon in the next couple of weeks for a 2 day stay perhaps, see what i find around the beaches

12 pieces, wow. That must of taken some organisation to get them all nicely snug and looking good.

Done some changes. move one small piece of the rock to the centre to break the big rock into two. Is it better?

Updated on the tank..
HC not doing too well.. still have not spread out after one month.. look like the substrate is not good for HC. And the Eleocharis vivipara (Tall Hairgrass) on the right is dying off. Is my lighting not adequate?
Having some algae problem, Green spot algae on rock n glass and also Hair algae on the fissure. So most likely not the lighting issue?
Lighting used : 39W x 2 (6hr)
39W x 4 (4hr)
Cleaning crew: 4 yamoto and one oto.
Other fish: 2 lemon tetra (not been feed since day 5 and they still look ok)
Decided to change the tape grass on the left background, any suggestion on what to replace it with.
Thankx.

What lighting tubes do you use. 39W of what exactly?
Any chance of an updated pic to see visually whats going on?

Perhaps up your photo period to 8 hours in total of 4x39W T5? I don't know. Seems adequate lighting to me. Your tank isnt deeper than standard 3footers is it?
HC is surviving, just not spreading. I don't know what to suggest for this.

What's the temperature for this tank? HC do well in 25/26 deg C water. Higher than that it tend to melt off...
Everything should be made as simple as possible...but not one bit simpler.
temp ard 27-30 . the HC is not melting only not spreading. But the tall hairgrass seem to be melting.
