    4) Lighting - Illummax Lighting with Dazs tube 24W/ 8000k White light
    5) Filter - Ehiem 2211 which i brought it from fellow bro, chendol23.

Plants that are in this tank as follow:-

    1) Hemianthus micranthemoides
    2) Blyxa japonica
    3) Hemianthus Callitrichoides

I see TetraPlant CO2 - Depot I use this too, how do you feel about how useful it is? Thinking of upgrading mine to a higher-tech one personally.

Perhaps plant your HG a little more densely and in slightly smaller clumps, allowing it to fill out more. Planting them slightly closer the the rock in the middle would allow more space for your HC to spread and still achieve i nice dense HG section.

I like this scape, well done.

hi Verminator, Thanks for the comment and advise. All noted.

Ahh.. that Tetraplant Co2, I think it is quite useful desipte i can't control the CO2. I had used this in my smaller tank with riccia pearling and nice growth. But i am just using that for a kickstart for my current 1ft cos i will dosing Excel before i consider getting Cylinder Co2.

The riccia that over growth too much that i does not know what to do with it. :P

All credit should goes to all seniors in this forum that encougaue me to setup my first planted tank.

    hi everyone,

like to ask if it is normal for new planted plants' leaf to melt for a newly setup tank ?

Yes it is possible as they are acclimatising to the new conditions. What is melting anyway?
It is also probably more pronounced if it is planted when the plant is still in its emersed form.
What faunas you planning to keep?
It's simple...but no one said it will be easy

Yup, melting may be an adaptation process - especially so if the plants were previously grown emmersed, then now as submersed... But I do know that some bros in here with 'green fingers' do not experience any melting in their plants at all when they introduce new plants into their tanks...

For me, even some of my crypts plants are still showing signs of melting in my established crypt tank...

I c. That's the process of plants adapting to new "home". Other than HC "cuba" which i saw some of the leaf is melting away, Blyxa japonica and Hemianthus micranthemoides is showing signs of leaf melting too.

So far as from day 2 (06/10/200 till now, my Dosing for the tank is only Excel, Wonder Gro Pro Macro + and Micro+. Is there any Liquid Fert that i am lacking?

As for faunas to keep, i may go for Aspito. Gramma. Either i move my current Aspito. Tife over to the new tank or i might get a new pair. This is because my current pair had breed twice in my old tank, which i believe they had already settled down.

Well, that is what i am just thinking because i intend to cycle the newly tank for at least 2-3weeks before adding any faunas into it. Reasons to it is to let the newly plants to get settle in and rooted well. What do you guys think about it?

    Guys,

I beening thinking on how to cover the Ehiem intake pipling. I been thinking about using Moss to cover the Pipling. But how should i go about it? Any ideas??

Dont mind about Tetraplant Co2 because that will be out of the tank once the plants had settle down.

An Update on my 1ft cube

I did a minor scaping to my current tank. Adding one small Taiwan moss on lava rock just behind the "Nana". Dont mind the "Bygone" behind the tank. :P

    Below is the attach picture.

I also remove the TetraPlant CO2 - Depot as i felt that it is blocking some of the lights from reaching the plants underneath it. Oh, i also added a Riccia stone.

    Any comments are welcome.
