i do not have a chiller, only using fan to cool down the water. Temp depends on the weather condition.
Do you run a chiller? Definately worth trying to keep the temp at around 26oC if possible. HC does survive in a wide variety of temperatures, but thrives in the slightly lower region of around 24-26oC. (not speaking from experience there though i might add).

Shorter periods of 27oC would be ok, but if its consistently over your HC may spread either extortionately slowly, or not at all.

1 month update
Removed some of the plant and add in hair grass.
Not much growth for the HC.. (looks almost the same since day1)

You may consider replacing the HC with glosso if you are tired of looking at the non-growing HC. Hair grass will spoil the look of your rock arrangement as it tend to cover most rock views. You may want to remove the hairgrass at the back also.
