I used a cup of hot water, a quick dip of the tube that's enough for fixing, when it cool down it will tighten itself to the glassware. Expand and contract! This way it will not damage the glassware and cut yourself, no force needed at all. To remove, pour some hot water on the connected part and it will expand again for remove.

oh kev you can try biotope at ang mo kio or order online from mizuworld, or midori for the ADA glassware. alternative you can try cal aqualabs glassware, i got a few they are not that bad in quality.I will recommend only these two if you are looking for quality standard finishing. hope it helps you to solve your problem.

Enough hot to make a cup of tea. Rubber and plastic can withstand few time hot than this.
