2232 free filter media sufficient for shrimps

I just started using the new 2232 ehiem filter for my new tank but i wish to know if the free media in there is sufficient for shrimps.

That will depend on the number of shrimps you are keeping. Higher bioload need better filtration.

If talking about less than 50, Im sure that will be sufficient.

Anybody can tell me what kind of filter media that strongly recommended if you want to keep shrimp in big quantities ?zeolith probably?
