bad idea! in the past when i had a 1ft cube. 10 of my galaxies didn't eat any shrimps, but they rip them apart and then leave the body alone..

I've 5 galaxies sharing a 1 ft tank with about 20 cherries for many months already... so far they co-existed peacefully and happily

The size of my galaxies is about 3cm+.

I have the same bad experience as EvolutionZ.

I used to have a lot of cherry shrimps in a 2 feet tank and after I introduced 8 galaxies about 6 months ago, now I only have 2 left...

    Even the Yamatoes are gone...

I guess fishes are like cats and are predatory/bullies in nature. They just like picking on something smaller than themselves.

My two cents is that serious shrimp keepers/breeders should not keep fishes other than Otos with them.

There are of course those who are successful in having a good balance with the two species living in harmony

If you already want to keep them together, I suggest you plant more plants for your shrimp to hide.

When your tank is well planted and with a lot of hidingplaces for the little shrimplets its no problem..
