    It has thick stems and leaves grow from the stem llike grass. Need advice to ID so that I can take proper care. Been 3 weeks old and not really growing. Appreciate some advice.

    it looks more like hygrophila salicifolia to me... notice long, thin leaves..

    Hard to tell from the pictures how large it is but it could be Hygrophila corymbosa 'Angustifolia', aka willow-leaf Hygro. If so, it can get quite tall with thick, woody stems.

    if I'm not mistaken most if not all Hygrophila have thick stems.

    looks like Hygrophila salicifolia, corymbosa have reddish/brownish veins and leaf blades are longer, unlike those in the pic. But I could be wrong
