Where to buy Power House Filter Media?

This media is superb expensive. So far I have not seen any in our local fish stores yet.

What's the difference between Powerhouse and the other commonly known brands? Did a search but couldn't find.

Other than the proclaim effectiveness of the media, it also has acidic properties which should be ideal for those who need to decrease their tank's water PH.

Not that I know of. This one is commonly used by crs hobbyist in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan and is as expensive as Biohome plus.

I've been using it after a year i kept apisto. Bought from HK & Japan. I don't quite understand why they don't reach our shores even till date. Understand that the price might be a little pricey & no shops are willing to bring it in due to the marginal profit.

I used it in my ehiem external filter for my apisto too, they do not stain the water. I believe due to the price & lack of branding, people are unaware of such media.

They even have small 'sponge' filters that cost around $50 per pc. I've got 3 of them for small 1ft or 1.5ft breeding/condition tanks. Inside the filter consist of filter media to increase the BB in the tank. That is why till date, i've not tried using biohome.

To fill up a full 2026/8 filter, might cost you up to $200-250 just filter media alone depending on what size you're planning on. The smaller the size of the filter media the more expensive it is.

I called NA , a lady answer and said they don't carry.
