    Do chewed-off fins and tails regrow? The fin and tail have been bitten off by another fish and not due to disease.

    Here's my L046 without the whole tails sometime in May 2008.
    You can see the flesh and bone!
    It was labelled as a goner but survived the blight that took 9 adult zebras away from me.



    This is the fish sometime in July 2008...



    I should take another picture of it soon...
    The tail is now much larger than the above picture.
    And I believe has fully renerated best it can.
    It still looks a little off but it has a functioning tail!

    celticfish, your case is caused by a disease, wasn't it?

    In any case, mine is not as serious. Only the "finny" bits were bitten off; not the bone or cartilage. The fish looks a bit sad-looking compared to its previous colourful glory.
