change regulator. get needle valve (from NA)
hello everyone,
i have a regulator problem. CO2 setup is a pressurized cylinder with a simple 1 meter and "tap" regulator.
problem is the regulator cannot maintain a steady gas flow. it increases with time. in the morning it was 2 BPS. by night, the CO2 is so strong till you only see a stream of gas in the counter. CO2 is flowing out so fast till there's condensation on the regulator!!
what can cause such a thing to happen? cold weather causing uneven contraction in the regulator thus causing the "tap" to loosen and allow a lot of gas to flow out? i am clueless. '
someone pls help. TIA.

you should use a needle valve to control flow. the regulator is meant for reducing the tank pressure (900+ psi) to working pressure (1 bar?).

maybe change to a better regulator.. mine also like this the only difference is mine the flow decreases over time.. and sometimes.. increases.. quite rare..
is yr regulator the UP brand one??? mine is the UP brand one.. normal regulator..
your needle valve is bad
see if you can get mr chan at NA to fix it for u
