    Hello everyone again...=)

first, thanks to all tat helps me with my first thread in this forum...if got chance, kopi session on mi okie...[]

i wish to ask u guys if anyone have use acrylic sheets to partitions yr tank base to control the spread of carpet plants ? i've done a search here, but so far dun think anyone mention anything like this except for acrylic tanks..... i got this idea of partitioning the foreground part of my tank into a few partition, n grow 1 type of different carpet plant on each partition, so the different plants will not grow over into another plant "territory"... is this a feastible idea ?

also, any ideas where can i get those custom made acrylic sheets ? i have tried a few "wu jin " shop...but they dun have...

yr idea sounds good, but unless the partition is high, the foreground plants will still find a way over it.. chan from NA uses acrylic sheet to block his vals from spreading

    thanks again simon...[]

kelstorm, err..the acrylic mi looking for is small pieces....eg: 10cm x 10cm? or somthing like tat lor...not those big divider type to divde my tank...
it's just to use to divide my tank base...to partition out a small area for certain plants...so they dun "hop" over to another place lor...=)
those louhan ones are too big leow....n lazy pple like mi lazy to cut myself..hehe..

There's 1 shop at serangoon North, a hardware shop, near petmart, rainbow that will cut to size I think.

the alternative is oriental plastics at the industrial park behind changi fire station.

You can also go bras bersah to buy those acrylic and an acrylic cutter. Cut to size yourself.

As I am quite a cheapo person....I reuse the plastic thingy that comes on the new shirt's collar that i buy.

Easy to bend and shape, not to mention no need to saw like 'siao'.

but its too soft to be used to create terrace/steps.

hopes this is useful for all cheapos or environmnet friendly people out there
