    Hi all,

Just want to share my joy in my successful attempt in spawning my Apisto Aga.

Have been trying to do so for don't know how many times with how many pairs and finally, few weeks back, got it right for them to spawning and not once but twice. The second time was just yesterday when saw the female keep flaring to the male which is just in the tank next to her. I also observed that there is a tip at the abdomen area which kind of showing that she is about to "burst". So quickly move her to the male tank and true enough, last than 4 hours. She is already chasing the male away from the pot where the eggs is laid.

Here is the picture of the frys of the first batch, now about 1 to 1.5 cm..

    Congratulations bro...

Do post details on your experience... how you manage to get them to spawn... any determining factors?

Thanks for help but I need to plan organize my space and tank first. The biggest challenge is my betta frys that is growing up in my 2 feet tank.. Once I need to jar them.. it will be a major space crunch..

Hi, no particular effort done to get them into the mood, just make sure that they are healthy and eat well..

Yup better hurry settle your space issues first before you get a pair home.. But i'm afraid once you are done so is the pair gone... Because C328 comes in and out very fast but you can place an order from them..

    Updates:

The second batch is already free swimming for 2 days.. Feeding them with liquid frys food and BBS.. Rough gauge, the quantity is definitely twice the size of the first batch

It will be wise to remove the 1st batch before the second batch is out....the mother will thought that the 1st batch as intruder once she is breeding on the 2nd batch....

Yup, good information noted... So far haven't really dare go disturb her.. In case she eaten the fries as my daughter did try before and my fries all gone in a day... Little kids like to bang on the tank..
