I have been using mine for nearly a year. Cheap and good..Basically, it depends on your requirement and budget. if you got the $$, buy ehmein. If not, Atman is a relatively good substitute.

the important thing is product support
if NA can back it up, i think it's a worthwhile purchase
i've never had any problems with my eheims, so i dunno if the service support is good or not heh

    hi

Like to know if anyone is using 3337?

Does it has 2 or 3 containers?

I bought one and has been using it for 3 weeks, but is suspecting I am being sold 3336 instead.

Is there a chance whereby Atman's production messed up, and deliver 3336 labeled as 3337.

Mine only has 2 containers, whereby the vendor's website suggested there are 3 ...
    http://www.chuangxing.com/Product/pr...ategory_ID=101

Several other websites also indicate there are 3.

My tank is still cloudy after 3 weeks, and I am wondering if its my underpowered filter which does not gives enuff space for bilogical prodution that caused the problem.

appreciate if fellow atman users will reply

From my knowledge, there are 2 filter basket. However there is a gap between the bottom filter basket and the bottom of filter. I wonder that is considered an additional compartment. I strongly belief chan @ nature sell you the correct stuff.

As for cloudy water. let the water settle down and put more filter floss if possible.

    hi william

Are u also using 3337? What is the size of your tank?

Is it calibrated as 6.5l, 1000l/hr?

I saw on this web page
    http://web.redbox.cz/zoosmid/page4_5.htm#1

There is a picture of 4 filters. Though there are labels on the picture, we could deduce that 3337 is the 2nd largest one, which on the picture shows it has 3 baskets.
    How can we explain this?

    regards
    Hee Kiang

    hi Joseph

Where did u buy it from?

With 3 baskets, your 3336 may be larger than my 3337?
That will be terribily wrong because according to the product specs, 3337 is supposed to hold 6.5 litres, and 3336 holds 3 litre.

Can you do me a favor by measuring the height and width of the filter?

Mine is 1ft tall, and 8inch wide by the side.

If yours is larger, there may be a chance Atman mislabeled the 2 filters.

    Appreciate your help.

I got my filter @ petmart. I am sure it only got 2 filter tray. I think it is not very possible there is a mistake in the label because when I buy the filter, I saw 3338. the box is slightly bigger than 3337.

My tank is a 4ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft. So far, water is very clear. For planted tank, filter that is too strong is not recommended. For best result, 4 ft tank should use 3338

No true that only 3338 has 3 baskets.

My friend bought a 3336 from NA last week and he got 3 baskets.
I was there to view the 3335, it has 2 baskets.

    I was at NA yesterday.
    saw the atman filter.
both 3335 and 3337 has 2 basket , both 3336 and 3338 has 3 basket. but it seems that the basket for 3337 is deeper.

No, I do not think you will have any problem with non-priming thingy. Just do a seach here, you will find ways to prime it.

Hi bennyp sorry for the late reply coz i went to Malaysia for a few days.
It is correct that my 3336 had three baskets but maybe smaller in size.
My filter canister is 10.5 inch tall and 7 inch wide.
