    does anyone have any experience to share on whether red ramshorn, horn nerite or zebra nerite eat moss? i wouldn't like to wake up one morning and find a bald branch with very full, and happy snails!!!

    don worry, they don feed on mosses. they oni feed on soft algae.

    Mine fed on the moss, though this is not their first choice food.

    They are not known to eat plants, if you have enough algae, dying or rotting plants, decomposing substances, even fish food for them.

    But if they are being deprived of food for an extended period, then they may just be forced to eat healthy plants, which should really be an exceptional circumstance in the aquaria.
