i love world ranking : 4! world ranking 1 don't look really nice to me.. nothing special too.. i simply look the tree trunk scape done by cliff hui.. and the tank looks very very deep though its only 45cm. and everything in that scape looks so natural.. he should be the one getting world ranking 1!
    my 2 cents.

I thought will be shock when see the 1st winner, but the scaping idea look like the previous taiwan winner.

Infact the No. 4 look great to me. No 3 scaping a bit similar to last year Hong Kong winner.

No 7 tank no much different than last year...overall they doing great.

Can't wait to receive the ADA book.

yea.. expecting something real good for 1st winner. but turns out a disappointment..
can see that number 6 to 2nd all are pretty special scapes.. but 1 looks very normal to me.. just a lush growth of plants..

kinda agree with you, the no 4 seem to achieve a sense of depth and give a perspective that its a very wide tank...

Is it just me or the top 4 aquascape looks like a scene from lord of the rings or some other fairy tale??

Nonetheless, super unique and kudos to them

the book seem to be Y2000 which is around S$38. so we just pay $38? thats the shipping cost? seems reasonable to me....

so maybe instead of ordering individually we can order bulk to minimise shipping cost and we can save a lot... will it work that way... just wild thoughts..

I rather save the trouble by waiting and travel all the way to meet just to collect the book and save few dollars on shipping but end up spent more on the transportation and time.

Why bother so much if the postman can delivery to you house letter box.

Some casual reading of an interview with Cheng Siu Wai, winner of IAPLC 2008. A short interview, not much detailed discussion though about his winning scape. He runs an LFS at Tung Choi Street, so some of you may have frequented his shop before.

http://www.cau-aqua.net (you need to be registered and logged in to read it)

Just found out from various sources that the size of the winning aquascape is 3m in length, about 1800L volume huge!

Waiting for more details of Cliff Hui's #4 scape.

yeah just came back and was there personally to witness the breathtaking tank.. was simply speechless....

definitely a lot of sweat and effort has been put in throughout... seem like the hairgrass have been pulled out though...
