ADA Amazonia Soil

Hi!
I am thinking of setting up a three feet planted tank.
I am thinking of using the ADA Amazonia soil as the substrate.
Question is.
1. Do they get muddy after some time?
2. Is it hard maintaining the tank (siphoning etc) as I feed blood worm to my fish.
4. HOw expensive are they?

firstly, ADA aquasoil isnt available here locally, but I have heard news that Amoae might be bring in...

it is said that aquasoil will last for a year before the soil softens

siphoning isnt advisable nor direct outflow from the pipe directly on the gravel/soil

Does anyone know how much I would roughly need if I were to use ADA soil in my three feet tank?

probably 4 bags.

I used 1 bag of nisso 8kg for a 2 x 1 x 1 for a 3 inch height substrate, they are probably around the same densities.

How much substrate would depend on how thick you want it to be. Multiply with the length and width (in cm) and devide by 1000. This should give you the amount in Litres.
