ya i also just bought a mini ATMAN from above mentioned LFS. Good stuff and silent

only 2 trays as compared to my CF1200 with 3.

I did checked with NA before, they said is too costly to make one, $300+, they offered that just get any cabinet that can hold the tank will do. I checked with one of the carpenter, they quote $350. Metal rack cost around $55(good quality from Gex) only, can consider that. Unless is not standard 2ft tank, like my Optiwhite tank.

Y618(saw not long ago) and Aquastar should have the stock. Gex rack are good quality rack and they are very light. It can be dismantle, they are safely screw together. There're 2 types, the cheper one cost $45, they only comes with bar, $55 comes with strong metal sheet which allow you to put stuff. Y618 and Aquastar are selling same price, guess no problem naming the price, is fixed price.

I believe I saw a Gex metal stand box at C328 as well. Dont know price though, but shouldn't be too far from what blue has shared

I am thinking of getting it and then DIY with some wood to make up a cabinet. My tank is 24" by 20" by 20", therefore I will also need add one more piece of base wood on top of the stand. By the way, are you able to measure for me what is the height between the lower deck to the upper deck from the inside?

Will check out tonight if i can remember! You can order the top wood from C328, i check with the boss yesterday he quoted $8 with white formica(similiar to formica) for 2ft size.

Wood you got to check with C328, i think they only supply white only, you can paint black yourself.

Have you checked out places like Qian Hu? They have 2ft tank cabinets on offer at times. I got my last one there for less than $100 (Cash and Carry).

Why not custom make a teak wood cabinet for the tank? I have made one 4.5feet for my old arowana tank. Have since throw away the tank, but the cabinet is still in superb condition. Using it as my computer desk now.

It might cost some money initially, but in the long run, definitely worth every bit of money invested.
