What type of wool are you using now?

My Atman CF1200 is about 6 months. I find the output becoming very much slower then when new. Previously it use to create a 'tornado' effect in my external reactor. Now its probably about 60% slower in water output. I tried replacing the wool filters to remedy it but does not solve the issue.
Where is the most likely place causing the blockage? The pump head itself? Or where else should I look?
