CHiller stick?

I saw something that looks like a fluorescent tube attached to a wire stuck in a tank. I guessed it was like a chiller stick? This was in a hotel display aquarium. Does something like this exist? If so, I'd like to try it, as opposed to getting a chiller!

Perhaps you can take a picture of it and show it to us. it is kind of hard to visualise it.

Perhaps its those waterproof cover for the fluorescent tube which allows you to place them in the water due to lack of space?

Hi all,

I don't think it's an external thermostat as there wasn't any indicators/displays on the thing, though I may have missed it! I don't think it's a fluorescent tube cos the main tank lights were on at that time and sorry, it didn't cross my mind to take a pic!

So I guess there isn't such a thing as a cooling stick that I can just stick into the tank instead of a chiller. I suppose it would have been mentioned here if there was such a thing!
