    Fish (1)

I don't quite recall where I got this fish, if any one here know where this fish was on sale at, or had given the specimen to me (Justin?) please let me know.

    Fish (2)

I am almost sure the following two blue-striped characin came from Japan via Justin. This one appears to be a Cheirodon?

    Fish (3)

this one superficially resembles fish (2) but is very much smaller and has a different shape on closer look.

    Fish (4)

This is an aquarium (C32 contaminant from Dr. Ng HH, noting the small reddish spot on the lower caudal lobe.

If I remember correctly, the first 3 fish seems to be Japan imports from Justin.

Fish (2) suspected to be Serrapinnus kriegi, but unconfirmed though.

Yeah.. all 3 fishes were from me.

Think the 1st one however, isn't a jap import..but more like indonesian. This fish was the one that was in Azmi's tank for a while remember? there was also a yellow variant. i still have both species alive and well but i have no idea what they are.

fish 2 should be what quiotic mentioned or also might be cheirodon...not sure... as you can see from the thread... there were some with the stomach spot and some without..also some with a bump head and some without. Think the one with belly spot should be cheirodon and the one with bumphead should be S. kreigi?? thats my guess..

fish 3 i don't know... but i think its nice.....still alive? pass to me la...kekeke

supposedly its just S. kreigi, being a reassignment from Cheirodon kreigi.

the third one has gone to heaven long long ago

shouldn't it be S. kreigi - reassignment from Odontostilbe kreigi?

I am not sure which sequence of genera changes it went through, but it doesn't really matter.

I thought Heiko might be able to shed some light on these guys.

The tetra in here (comment #6?) looks the same as (1)? http://www.siamensis.org/oldboard/3939.html

In Thai, but I don't see any scientific names being mentioned though. Maybe can check with the Thai friends.
