I tried picking up mosses from near drains and in the nature parks for use in the aquarium... but so far no luck with them submersed...
after my weekly run today, i decided to poke around my neighbourhood and see if i can find any moss... and then i saw these 2! need some help to ID them!
First up! I suspect they're Singapore Fissidens...

Next, I think I'm almost sure they're Singapore Moss..

L46,L66,L333,L48,L201,L134,BN,L184,L168sand others...
These will all die when submersed for long periods of times.
I've tried to grow them submerse a while back, but all have died.
I did grow the wild emmersed Singapore successfully.I'll select the top part and throw away the bottom part and grow in the container beside my tank, so that it can receive light also before i introduce into my tank. Initial stage you can only grow in container with little water before into the tank.
