so intro eh??? haha, my names Kat im from Melbourne Australia and a friend from facebook in Malaysia told me bout this site..
im a student nurse nearly finished thank god!!! and completed a science degree before that...

My passionate pastimes are my fish, learning, reading, dog and my partner, family and friends...
I am completely addicted to cichlids and have 6 nursing jobs and one in an aquarium...

i have kept aquariums for ten or 12 years now and have recently taken down a two year marine tank...mmmm marine....
however when i moved back home to study nursing with 15 cichlid tanks, my mother pushed for me to sell majority of them so now i just have a four ft three tier set up with chichlids (princess, hongi's, lombardi's, yellow fin croc rocks, and livinstoni)
i also have 6 juvenile discus and 8 baby koi angels in a 2 ft set up with 5 clown loach, and 3 other silver and black cat fish which atm i cant think of the names!!!!
the 15 tanks i came home with included two 8ft display tanks that were inside... now i have no tanks inside just up the back in my 'fish shed'

hahahaaa, so i have a year and a half of nursing to go then i must move out and start my obsession with my fish breeding again ;0)
i work on and off for fishy business in blackburn and before that worked at waterworld aquarium in templestowe

I think I see a fishroom in your very near future...
With 2 x 8 ft tanks... maybe a room won't suffice!

haha, thanks celticfish... yes I'm a little fish crazy ;0) so addictive... i love them...
first started with a peaceful 3ft community tank (with a sniper gourami that knocked everyone else off til i took action n got him into the loo ;0) hahahah)
but atm its just my fish shed, luckily my partner is a plumber and i have alot of links into the fishy world so when i finish my nursing degree i can have a whole rumpus room inside with huge tanks ;0) lol... like a library ;0) except illl need one of those too cos i read so much ;0)
