hmm.. i also not sure.. I'm using the API 5 in 1 measuring kit. From the reading my gf read 0.5. Is the kit alright? or should I add in something to lower the nitrite?

1 more thing is my GH = 30 means 3.0 or should i add mineral plus to make it to 3?

In my opinion you can put in some low grade crs to test out already... i'm using the API 5 in 1 as well.... it can be hard to differentiate between readings sometimes... the kit should be fine....

I set it at 24 degree and compensate -1 on the chiller.
