This is intended to be a CRS tank... a 1.5ft cube running on Eheim 2215/Artica 1/10 chiller...

As such I hope to try some cold water plants that I do not normally get to try...

Heres the hardscape so far... still deciding on the plants...

I have more or less decided on my scape....
Plan to use C. Balansae on the left corner (Will probably reduce the slope or plan on top of the slope...In front of the Balanse, I will put a piece of DW/Larva Rock with Bolbitis , and In front on the bolbitis needle leaf java fern.
The right foreground will be a UG lawn, and the spot with the ugly granite rock will be replaced with a small DW tied with Willow Moss to provide a Mossy Hill effect.
On the right, behind the 3 pieces of rocks will be Hairgrass with UG at the front. Try to add a Tall Fissidens Hill (DW block tied with Fissidens) at the Rightmost corner at the back. Rightmost front corner will plant 3 Gujing plants...
The DW will be tied with Xmas moss nearer the top and Fissidens at the bottom. At the bottom fork, I will try to put some rocks with Nana Petite around each wood. Around and behind the wood will be some Crypt Wendtii.
And yes the moss on mesh will go...

    C. Balansae not suitable for small and short tank, the root need deeper soil for them to propogate, plus their height is like unlimit to me cause my current C. Balansae almost reach 2ft high.

Oh yes... This tank is 1.5ft (I hope to have the balanse grow all the way to the top in a wild manner...)... The substrate is higher where I will plant them too (although this is not intentional as I built a hill without thinking what to do with it earlier)....

Crinum calamistratum, Cryptocoryne retrospiralis, Vallisneria spiralis are suitable plant choices for your background.
