Sadly not in demand to hobbyist in Singapore, as with most species of loach.
Just for information sake, "Tuberoschistura arakanensis" appears to be an invalid scientific name, a fictitious one. So I would strongly discourage the association of this fish with the fictitious scientific name.
yes the rosy loach comes from the same pools as the galaxy rasbora, but due to it much more boring look has not attracted a quick description yet.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

I'm also in the lookout for the rosy loach. I've not seen it for the past one year and the ones I had passed away some time back.
Someone should start a movement on loaches
