Addiction or love... I guess you'll surely continue this hobby in Aus, I hope? When migrating?

After 4 years in aquascaping AND spending in access of three thousand dollars AND killing dozens of fishes (coral red pencils and zebra oto too) AND shrimps at exponential figures AND breeding unwittingly hundreds of ramshorn snails through the process of 5 tanks AND going through great deal of sadness and agitation from failed tanks & algae blooms and ranting on the forum with the assumption that I was right, only to corrected later by gurus in the most embarrasing way on a public forum AND blasted by my wife for wasting so much time, petrol and money on flora and fauna that collectively has less brain cells to activate than the smallest mammal AND that I going to migrate to a Australia where everything is 3 times more expensive and uglier than our local LFS AND 3 times less variety...........
.....I still can't get enough of it.I guess that is what you call loving it, when it is not what you can live with, but what you can't live without.

yeap, next month. going low maintenance for an indoor pond with white cloud minnows.

You can visit Christmas Island, take nice nice photos and post them here.![]()

Aye, that would be nice. But my first eco-trip will have to be Darwin. Looking forward to seeing giant tiger sharks, crocs and fishing barramundis.

Have fun! Which part of Australia are you going to? Must be exciting to start fresh somewhere else!

All the best! DO show us some unique fishes/shrimps available over there.
I hear you can keep nice herps over there... can move from fish tanks to terraniums

Ya bro. What's new? Guess we're in the same boat when it come to this
Thank you for injecting the aquascaping virus into me and most of all thank you for introducing AQ to me. If not for you... I won't be spending so much dough on this hobby and getting an earful from my OC.![]()

Yeap, thanks everyone. Been really busy with work and admin, didn't have time to check the forum. As savant says, terrarium is a big possibility with my indoor pond. Only worry is blanket weed is really prolific.
Bro. First of all, congratulations on the move. But you really shouldn't worry man. You are gonna have a pond there... IMAGINE the possibilities! And i believe there should be plenty of native australian species for you to explore.
