    I am new to keeping aquarium fish and have become addicted! I have 12 Neon Tetras, 1 molly, 5 platties and 1 mountain shrimp - all have names (except neons - too many)! My Neons have been in tank 2 weeks but noticed yesterday a few of them have what I describe as a small particle of dandruff on tail and fin, any ideas what this is and how to treat? Thanks.

    your fishes may have "white spots". get white spot medication or use heat and salt treatment.
